By: Gorden | Posted on: Mar 17 2025 at 01:02:43 PM | I am trying to put the data file into Mysql with siteground.
I have created the database, users etc. But am having trouble importing the file.
I get the message -
#1064 - You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near ' ' at line 1
The format on the siteground is SQL, Character set is UTF-8, SQL Compatibility mode is set to "None".
Just wondered if anyone knows what this may refer to?

I created two users via the database creation, and I guess I can use the other user name and password when connecting from a second pc, how would I set permissions?
If anyone has done this, I would be grateful of any pointers.

That is done within the MiniMRP program.
To the left of the program window is the main menu bar. Go to the very bottom section of the menu bar into the 'Setup' area. Here you will see a 'UAC' tab.
Each user that has connected to the minimrp data will have a row in the UAC window. To begin with all users have full/admin access. Columns on this page show the different parts of the program. You (assuming you want to be the admin user) can click into a cell and change the permissions for a user to Full, ReadOnly, None. | |
